Junior Software Developer   @   QHR Technologies Inc.

Hello! I’m a computer scientist with a few hats: software engineer, statistician, data analyst, and machine learning engineer.
I’ve completed a computer science major with a statistics minor from UBCO, focusing on the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

I have almost ten years of experience with the Java programming language, and have frequently used R and Matlab throughout university. For high performance computation, I use OpenCL (JOCL). I have less experience but am familiar with C, C++, C#, MQL4, Javascript, MIPS Assembly, VB.NET, SQL and Python.

I am interested in further study and research of the following topics:

  • Distributed Computing
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Machine Learning
  • Neural Networks
  • Data/Statistical Analysis
  • Operating Systems
  • Computer Vision and Graphics

Deep Learning Supercomputer Framework
Perhaps my biggest accomplishment is my cluster computing framework project, with a specific application of accelerated machine learning and statistical analysis. It is a back-end Java application written only using native libraries, involving a command-line interface, network transparency between machines, service management, concurrent processing, databases, event logging, machine learning, distributed computing, among other fields.
