Junior Software Developer for the Accuro Integrations Team @ QHR Technologies Inc. (by day)

Software Engineer / Machine Learning Statistician (by night)

I am currently on the Accuro Integrations team for QHR Technologies, working as a Java Junior Software Developer.

I have completed five years at UBCO, majoring in computer science and minoring in statistics, especially towards the fields of machine learning and distributed computing.

I am interested in further study and research of the following topics:

– Artificial Intelligence
– Machine Learning
– Neural Networks
– Distributed Computing
– Data/Statistical Analysis
– Operating Systems
– Computer Vision and Graphics

I have a decade of experience with the Java programming language, and have frequently used R and Matlab throughout university. I have less experience but am familiar with C, C#, C++, MQL4, Javascript, MIPS Assembly, VB.NET, SQL and Python. I am capable of full stack development, but I much prefer backend work.

Distributed Machine Learning Framework
My greatest accomplishment is a distributed computing framework project, developed for the specific focus of accelerated machine learning and statistical analysis (or deep-learning supercomputers if you want to use buzzwords 😂). It is a back-end Java application written only using native libraries, involving a command-line interface, network transparency between machines, service management, concurrent processing, data handling, event logging, machine learning, etc.
